COUNTRY SMELLS

The breeze was humid but cool. The birds chirped in several languages, the air was fresh but lightly manure scented. The beginning of a long day of cycling through beautiful Iowa farm land.

The moving pictures, the sounds, the smells, and sensations will run through my mind for years to come. My hope is that you can feel and understand these special days through my pictures and words.

  1. Dale, It was great meeting you and I'm so glad you were waiting at the wrong house in South Elgin, IL. I enjoyed your company and many stories and I'm taking our meeting as a sign. You are the messenger and the message is clear. Thank you.

I wish we could have talked more. It's Monday morning 5/21/07 and if you are still in South Elgin this evening I'd like to chat again.

If not, then have safe and happy travels. Keep in contact. If you need a place to stay or need anything...
